We are a small HOA of 20 units. I live in one of eight that has a car port and a garage. Well now it has come to our attention that some of the Car Ports need work done on them. The Board is thinking about charging the eight of us more of a monthly fee. They are saying since the other 12 do not have car ports why should they pay for repairs to ours. I have lived here for over 20 years and this has never come up before. I also spoke to another homeowner who has lived here since they were built and this has Never come up before. He was also the Treasure for over 20 years. This is a new board and they want to do a lot of changes to fees & etc.... Can they do this ?
