Condo president controls finance in secret

Question:

We had a president for the last six months that was very controlling and did not communicate with the other board members. From day one she has tried to have control of the books. She has been told that the treasurer will sit with her at the computer and will be happy to show her what she would like to see or the treasurer will print off copies. She kept requesting a thumb drive so she could put quick books on her computer. She then requested two of the board members to audit the books. The report came back that they were fine. After six months she has resigned and is now requesting 1. Statements on every owner from Jan to present. 2. Bank deposit records from Jan to present. 3. Bank statements from Dec 2015 to present. 4. Check register Jan to present. Paid bills Jan to present. She wants all of the above on a monthly basis from now on so that she can enter her own set of financials and be assured of the health of the books, This is an excessive request. The documents state the all unit owners get quarterly financials. I know that financials can be requested by owners but this is extreme and is her idea of getting control that she never had in the first place. I do not believe that a second set of books is needed. The financial records are very transparent to anyone that would like to view them. Is there a legal response that can be made to this former president? Please can anyone help with this? All board members are volunteers and there is not a management company in play. Florida
