I live in a HOA in New Jersey. We all pay maintenance fee which includes our water and sewer. We are in debt because of all those that aren't paying. Now they want us all to make an additional $900.00 payment to catch up! The people that aren't paying aren't going to pay this either.
Can't they shut their water off some how? We all pay the same, no individual meters, which is in the HOA fee.
Why should they be allowed to stay in their homes, by just paying their electric and gas, for years! If they shut off their water, I'm sure most would find the money for the maintenance fee!
