Question:
We have a homeowner who is requesting a driveway extension up along his unit (side). (We are 34 separate units).
His driveway is at a slant, and since we are a 55+ community feels it is dangerous for he and his wife getting out of the car in winter conditions.
He has lived there now for 12 years and is away most of the winter months. There is no provision for this in our bylaws, and of course it is on common ground area. Plantings are allowed 3 feet from the units as well as a patio or porch in the rear of each unit. Can this be allowed?
