We were recently in the storm damage flooding and rain in Wisconsin. Our finished basement, family room, full bedroom, full bath, and small finished storage area sustained water damage due to the over-saturation of the rains. Our lower level had water damage seep up into the concrete floors and damaged carpeting, personal belonging etc. We found a crack in the foundation and in our egress window. The HOA will pay for fixing the foundation, however I have to pay to have my central air unit to be moved so they can fix it. Secondly, my personal Condo Homeowner insurance has denied all coverage for damages and destroyed items. I am waiting and hoping for help from FEMA, my HOA said if I get FEMA help I have to pay them back for fixing the basement. I am not sure what is what at this point any assistance would be appreciated.
