$1.00 that is an insult. How many subscribers will really sign up. I think that is truly an insult to Haiti. I know they what a 1.00 a day in wages, but this is really embrassing.

Dana, I think your response is insulting...they are trying to do something good here. If you would pass this email on to 20 friends and they sign up for the blog, that's $20 they are donating on your behalf for forwarding an email.

Hi Dana,

I am the founder of CondoAssociation.com and Eli has the right idea.

I have already donated personally, but thought this may be a nice way to get our community proactively involved. We have about 1,000 subscribers, so if each subscriber email forwards this on to 5 other condo association or HOA members and they sign up, I'd donate another $5,000 on what I already have donated.

That may seem cheap to you, but I think that's a sizable donation from my own wallet.

well by all means, Dana... do NOT indulge that $1.00 insult, $1.00 is not the limit, by god, so take tha high road.

(insults ARE insulting, yanno.)

and you just sit right down'n write'ah fat check and how bout scannin' a copy of it, front and back, on'ah website we can all view and see what the "non-insulting" donation coming from you IS ! since $1.00 is insulting, i feel confident you have a dollar amount in mind that will constitute an acceptable donation figure. after all, yanno what's insulting and ya actually insult the fund raisers for doin' just that... raisin' funds.

let's see ya put out there what's NOT insulting.

>> How many subscribers will really sign up.

how many would make it worthwhile, how many would it take to compete with your upcoming magnanimous gesture? cuz if i'm hearin' ya right... yer own integrity dictates that you'll be toppin' that insultin' dollar amount raised through subscribers. (i bet yer hopin' there ain't'ah run on subscriptions this week !)

i'm soooooooo looking forward to seein' how ya rise above the insulting monetary intake and seein' what yer made of.

competsate haiti according to "donation with dignity declaration based on dana's judgment" plan.

i would bet my last dollar that the answer is ZILCH ! if i'm wrong, i'm promisin' ya i won't pay up on that bet.. (it'd be insultin').
