Condo association bylaws fuzzy about common area maintenance

Is your condo association responsible for keeping up deck flooring? Mine will paint the railings and paint the walls but not re-stain and water-seal the wooden planks. Our condo association bylaws are a bit fuzzy on this limited common element area. The ground floor condos have cement patios that do not need any upkeep.

This is probably not considered a common area due to the fact it is for your own personal use and not shared by others. The rails and walls may be seen from the street and possibly they agreeded to keep this up due to that fact. they are seen. Your neighbors do not share in using your deck, so it is not common area.

The deck is limited coimmon area and as such the condo asssociation must provide any needed maintenance services.
