Wow... this craziness is why good people move away.

why are the homeowners so angry?? it is because the Board Members have no compassion or patience, that is a strong quality to have to be on the Board, If they do not have any of these qualities, they should not be on the board..

Board members appear to "fight" or just ignore, they need to explain exactly what they are doing or not doing.. with patience..

WOW this is really funny. I wished I would have video our last meeting when the sec./ treas basically was arguing about the declaration and cut me off from speaking like she was more important than myself and yelled at me for talking while she was trying to cut in and I said excuse me I think I had the floor first, She bolted at me to Kiss her ASH and removed herself from the meeting by saying I don't need this B.S. from you guys. I wanted to laugh as she was leaving so fast, but I remained composed. I was certainaly glad she left as most of my issues are with her and our money and the way she thinks she can control the board. P.S. she already stepped down last month so there is no loss on our part. That did make my day! So long and short I think meetings should be video taped!!!!!

The presence of a recording device implies that someone may be held accountable at some point in the future for their speech and behavior. We can't have now, can we?

WOW! thats just like our board meetings...and our president uses the KISS MY ASH thing constantly. The roof is leaking? KISS MY ASH and he slams the door. There is a fire in the laundry room? KISS MY ASS FUDGE YOU I DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOU and slams the door in your face.

haha if they only knew how ridiculous they are

Congratulations for standing up for your civil liberties and your investment.

I wish our owners had the fortitude that yours do. Our folks would rather fold like doormats than stand up to the board, especially those whose special privileges are granted by the board. Please send some more New Yorkers to Duluth, Minnesota Beacon Pointe or in the vernacular, Beacon Pointless.

Amen!

I am a board member, we get no money to do this, just complaints from people who are unwilling to help. Maybe instead of holding a video camera you should volunteer for the board or a committee...

I am also a board member - our homeowners don't even bother coming to the meetings and they don't bother to vote - they just call and complain and threaten to hire lawyers over the tiniest things - like a tree limb fell in my front yard and wasn't picked up for 2 days - I'm suing. Jeeze louise - I live in Texas and I spend about four hours of my time each week watering yards because our maintenance guy had to retire because he was 70 and we could no longer insure him. Yeah, we got lots of complaints about it was our fault. So, I volunteer my time to water and the homeowners won't even step outside to water their own little front yards, and do I the meetings and a bunch of other stuff. So all you homeowners that hate board members but are too busy to become one should walk a mile in your board's shoes and then be quiet or step up to the plate.
