Question:
Are HOAs in Indiana required to seek competitive bids for larger projects on common areas?
Our HOA bylaws do not address the need to seek competitive bids. However, with two large projects looming, our HOA BOD are very reluctant to seek bids, leaving the homeowners with seemingly unreasonably large special assessments.
