I filed a small claims court suit for $500 and it cost me $90. The Association attorney showed up, we went to mediation and I agreed to dismiss the case. I was going to give the monies to charity. Now the Association wants me to pay the legal fees. I went to small claims court to check if the case was dismissed. I was told in mediation by the attorney and the mediator that I will dismiss the case only if no one pays anything. I was doing the association a favor because I am a recruiter. I place condo attorneys for a living and knew this guy was milking this case and it was my money too. I complained about the LCAM to the DPR and they have found violations . Since I stopped going to the meetings in Jan and last night my complaint letter was read aloud, and the lawsuit was discussed. In our docs it said anything discussed with an Attorney is only for the ears of the BOD. I sued because I requested six times to inspect records and still not have gotten access. In the meeting I was discussed as the wrong one costing the association money ? Any input ?
