Can an HOA owner cut their own lawn?

Question:

I live in a 70 unit detached condominium community in Michigan. Lawn care is provided by HOA. Currently there is no lawn care due to coronavirus shutdown in MI. Can a homeowner who owns a mower cut his own lawn? He isn't asking for payment
