Can Condo Board Require Proof Of Coverage from Owners?

Does an association's board have the right to request a copy of each owner's declaration page from their insurance company to make sure they have insurance?

The association has "all in" insurance coverage but there is a large deductible ($50,000) for wind & hail damage. Therefore, each homeowner should carry a $50,000 assessment loss coverage on their policy. We would like to be sure this exists on each of their private policies.
