Condo Association Bylaws vs. Wisconsin State Statute

My question is regarding the validity of a proxy based on the language in our Association’s Bylaws vs the WI State Statute.
The Statute 703.15 4(d) states the following: Unit Owners May vote by proxy, but, the proxy is effective only for a maximum period of 180 days following its issuance, unless granted to a mortgagee or lessee.

Our Bylaws state “Proxies shall be valid only for the particular meeting designated there on and must be filed with the Secretary before the scheduled time of the meeting.” Our BOD has interpreted “particular meeting designated there on” to mean date of meeting vs purpose of meeting. Anyway, if proxy is only valid for a meeting on xx/xx/xx date then how can the proxy meet the state Statute requirement of being valid for 180 days?
