I am the President of a COA here in Ohio. We are being mandated by our insurance company that we have to replace every meter box and electrical panels in the complex because they are Federal Pacific. I understand that these are a fire hazard and should be changed, but a job this size would exhaust our reserves.
We are trying our very best to avoid a special assessment because we had to raise fees for 2025 by a fair percentage and residents are very unhappy.
I was hoping that there might be some sort of financial assistance or grants out there somewhere that we could apply for. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!
