## What do you think? Question:

### ![powerwash_carport](http://www.condoassociation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/powerwash_carport.jpg?width=195&name=powerwash_carport.jpg)My condo association powerwashed the car ports while we were out of town and my car was inside the port. I was not notified before hand, nor was any call made in attempt to have me move the car.

### The association doesn't dispute this. I noticed that I had damage on my car (knicks, gouges, etc) from what I assume to be the debris flying from the power washing process.

### They directed me to a specific body shop to get a quote. The body shop did not give me a quote when I left and said they'd let the association know. 2 weeks have gone by and no response from the body shop or association after numerous messages.

### I am in the process of making a claim with my insurance company to repair the damages, and they will go after the condo association and try to get my deductable back for me. Not holding my breath.

### But, my question is: Can I stop paying my monthly condo fee while this is in disupte and/or up to the dollar value of my deductable? It kills me to write them a check when they damaged my car.
