HOA board seat went very quickly


Question:

We had a member of our board resign. Since the position is open, should a notice or email be sent out to notify owners for possible candidates? I heard the board just filled the position with the wife with a member already on the board. Do I as an owner not have the right to vote again and owners be made aware of the opening?
