Residents of our condo community want to change over to town homes. We're in South Carolina. Is this an easy process? Would it be expensive? Should it be done? We are only 24 condos and are part of a much larger community of single family homes therefore we have to pay their fees as well as ours. That HOA does not want to merge but if we disband as condos wouldn't they have to work with us? So many things to consider and we need some guidance before starting process
