## What do you think? Question:

![renege-property-management-contract.jpg](http://www.condoassociation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/renege-property-management-contract.jpg?width=170&height=170&name=renege-property-management-contract.jpg "renege-property-management-contract.jpg")The new board of our association decided to terminate the property management contract,

The new board decided to go with another company for management. But now the first company is requesting payment untill 2018.

Our bylaws only permit a contract for one year of management, but their contract was signed by the previous administrator.

My questions is: will this be a legal problem for the association - hiring another company without making any legal agreement with the first company?
