Is damage inside the walls of my condo unit my responsibility?

Question:

My townhouse has structural damage that the condo association is going to fix by replacing a beam. They told me that if it causes damage inside my townhouse such as cracks in walls, I'm responsible for it. Is this a true? Massachusetts
