Can condo associations charge homeowners for the mailbox on the property?
We are charged $120.00 per year for the community mailbox, not owned by the post office.
I have documented requests made numerous times to have the locks repaired/replaced, as many have been broken for years. My requests have been ignored by the association president numerous times, yet the they are charging homeowners for the mailboxes.
This problem has been brought to the attention of our new property manager as well, more than a year ago. What do I do?
