Our Board is raising our 2022 dues by 38%!


Question:

Our Board raised our 2022 HOA dues by 38%! Our state statutes say that dues cannot be raised by more than 20%, and that any increase above 15% requires a vote of the membership. Residents have protested to the board, but their response is just that 38% is what is needed to meet the budgetary requirements. What can we, the residents, do to stop this?
