I filed homeowners, hiring a remediation company and ended getting a public adjuster who finally got the insurance company to pay. I got one small check.
The insurance will not pay the rest of the claim until my board of 3 people pays.
I cannot live here, I have been hospitalized 6 times and I haven't asked for any of that. I don't have enough money from the check the insurance sent me to have the mold remediation done. My hands are tied.
There are 4 units in this condo, they all have mold, There was a unit in another building that had mold. The Association board president helped the owner cover over the mold and it was sold. that is illegal.
I need to know who I can contact, to get this place condemned.If I cannot live here and they pay their share so I can get this fixed, I can't live here, I can't sell it. Please advise. Thank you.
