I am on the HOA board. Last week, a homeowner has hired construction workers and they're doing work which was never brought to the boards attention for permission. I don't know what type of work is going on inside, and frankly, they are unapproachable to ask. I tried talking with the contractors to find out what type of work they were doing and they wouldn't tell me, they just gave me their business cards. I'm not sure if they're just painting, but the noise of the work running saw and hammer doesn't seem like it's just painting and I'm concerned they didn't get permits or if they are doing any structural changes. How do I find out? Thanks.
