Should Condo Associations Have Written Rules for Estate Sales?

Does anyone have written rules for estate sales within your association? Our state, "Residents desiring to hold an estate sale to liquidate large household items must provide advance notice to the Board." There are additional rules for the sale of a unit, such as placement and length of time that realtor signs may be used for open houses.
