****I purchased a condo at a [tax deed sale](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_deed_sale) in Florida. Now the [condo association's](https://www.condoassociation.com/CondoAssociation/tabid/83434/Default.aspx) attorneys are after me for all of the previous owner's arrears, interest, late fees, etc. There is a conflict in the law - one statute claims that only governmental liens survive a tax deed sale, and other claims that regardless of how a title is transfered, previous outstanding debt must be resolved. Is anyone else in this position?
