Our condo is a mountain property that is closed in the winter, and homeowners are not allowed to occupy their units from November to May, and the water supply is turned off. During the off season, the
Condo Board allowed in the past for unit owners to check on their property, or even to stay in them without water. This year, they are locking a gate and refuse to give the unit owners the combination to the lock, in effect, denying us access to our property. They said we can 'walk around the gate' and 'walk up the driveway' to check on our property. However, some of us are disabled and cannot walk up the steep and long driveway. The driveway itself is actually an easement on our neighbor's property. What can we do? The property is in North Carolina, and we are a 47A
