Our condo board held a secret "working session" to approve the budget and subsequent increased
association fees for 2011. I was informed that the subsequent voting was done via email. Our
bylaws say that the board must meet in a public session; however, there is a provision for telephone conferencing provided that all communication can be simultaneous. One more bit of information, I understand that the Board may meet in January or later to again vote of the approval of the budget and the increase of the fees. In the meanwhile, the increased monthly fees are effective and due on January 1st. What are your thoughts on this situation?
