My condo unit sustained wall damage and rot due to faulty initial construction work and faulty repairs on recent tile work (exposed wall outlet with no caulk). Every time it rains, water comes in at the wall seams. Now the condo association wants me to pay for some repairs - such as finish/paint. Why would I have to pay if the damage was due to their error.
