Are there any laws related to unit owner safety concerns regarding the lack of snow removal that is supposed to be covered by my
HOA dues? Our newest
Property Manager recently hired a new snow removal vendor who is obviously not equipped to service a property as large as ours (appx 75 units). They plow the parking lots and shovel the walkways just enough to allow for emergency vehicles. This leaves our parking spaces and walkways under very icy and dangerous conditions. I have made numerous complaints but have not witnessed any improvement to the level of service we are receiving. Several units owners have verbally agreed with me, but I am not sure if they have voiced their complaints to PM. I am temporarily disabled and walk with a cane. Our area has been hit with tons and tons of snow this winter and I have often had to shovel my own walkway and/or parking space out of concern for my own safety. Other than submit written complaints to the PM, all I've down is take pictures of the property to show the lack of snow removal. Any suggestions as to what I should/could do?
