What information can association share?

Our association used to give out a list of homeowners with phone numbers and email of all homeowners (unless they did not want to share). They stopped doing this stating they are not allowed to share this information. Can you tell me what information we have a right to receive? Phone, email, address, unit #? Currently owners have no way to communicate with one another as the board maintains tight control.
