title: Rodents in attic, entering through soffits
description: Is this something that my HOA should be responsible for addressing? The pest control company said that they got into the attic due to soffits that had come detached. Thus it seems like that is an area that would be the responsibility of the HOA.

## What do you think? Question:

![rodents-in-condo-attic.jpeg](http://www.condoassociation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/rodents-in-condo-attic.jpeg?width=275&height=183&name=rodents-in-condo-attic.jpeg "rodents-in-condo-attic.jpeg")I just found out that there are rodents living in my attic.

Is this something that my HOA should be responsible for addressing? The pest control company said that they got into the attic due to soffits that had come detached. Thus it seems like that is an area that would be the responsibility of the HOA.
