Atlanta GA owner has question about renting out their condo

Should I be able to rent my condo to whoever I please, or do I have to get permission from the board?

I don't really think it's fair that they get to decide who can and can't rent my home. It does state in our regulations that the board has to be made aware of any such rentals, but it does not explicity state that get to make a decision either way on any particular renter.

Should I just rent it out and then let them know, or should I tell them of my plans now (which I fear wiill stir up a big hornet's nest)?
