Bicycle rack in front of apartment’s window!

The Association wants to install a bicycle rack in front of my apartment’s window. The window is located in a small hallway and the bikes will take at least half of the hallway space. In addition, the rack will obstruct my view of the garden and parking lot.
When I bought my apartment the rack was not there and there were no plans to put a bicycle rack in the common areas. Do I have the right to have an unobstructed view? What are my alternatives? Should I contact a lawyer?
