Board member owns many units and controls entire condo association

Question:

I live in a 52 unit condo building. There are three board members. The treasurer and his wife own one apartment and 14 others in a relatives name, I would assume, so the treasurer can remain on the board. He is 89 years of age and makes all decisions for the building and controls the management company. Only a few owners in this building have stood up the the treasurer, but he is running this building into the ground. One particular problem I am having right now is every time my next door neighbor runs the dryer, my dryer gets hot and lint deposits. I informed the management company and board. I was told in an email by the management company that the treasurer believes it is the extreme heat in Florida causing this problem. I called the fire department and they called the management company and was told that they would discuss this problem at their meeting in July. The fire departments hands are tied. This is a minor problem compared to others we have. One big problem, the treasurer has his own company and writes checks to individuals who do work in our building, and then gets reimbursed from the management company. I can go on, but I need to know a good lawyer in my area. Thank you.
