Can condo owner rent parking spaces?

Question:

In our 70 unit condo building, each owner is deeded two parking spaces. These are for the exclusive use of the condo owner. If the owner used only one space, could he legally rent the other? Can the condo association limit the rentals to other owners, relatives, etc.?
