I was finally contacted by the CEO of the company that owns my condo building. Here is the situation: out of 180 condos, the building owners own 163 of them, and use them as rentals. The owning company is also the property management company. When asked who the HOA board members were, he stated they were company employees. Seems like conflict of interest to me and that now they can pass any budget/fee increases they like.... Nebraska
