Can Boston condo owner ignore fine?

Question:

I own a condo in a building in Boston and have a roommate to pay the bills.  We had some friends over last weekend and I received a fine that looks like a bill from the condo association for loud noise past 10pm.  We were not loud.  Am I expected to pay this?  What happens if I don't pay it?
