Our guest caused accidental damage to an entry gate in the Common Area. Our CC&Rs clearly state that I am responsible, and I agree. The cost of the repairs is $5000; our Master Policy has a $1000 deductible. I would like to access the coverage under the policy, knowing that I will be responsible for the deductible. Our Association Board is refusing coverage benefits under the policy, stating that the property had incurred too many claims, and rates may increase.
