I am a director on our board, in Arlington Heights, IL. A homeowner for years has hung her American Flag which is very large from the balcony above her. It is beautiful to see every summer. The president of our board told me to tell the unit owner to take it down, that it looks terrible. Now in our rules and regs we do state you can not hang anything from the balcony above you. My question is can you tell someone they can't hang their American Flag? This really teed me off, especially at this time to be told to take down Our Flag.
She did take it down, if she can display it again any ideas on how to do this without hanging from the balcony above.
