What are the laws on cameras In common areas? Two board members put cameras, one of the board members put a camera above her garage facing the parking lot. We have a lot of stolen cars get left in the corner. One owner took a photo of her 2 cameras, one in her bedroom window other above garage. This person is asking to put up a camera above his garage, he claims the board has camera pointed at his garage so now he wants to put one up to point at their unit. What legal recourse does the board have?? Theres nothing in rules an regulations about cameras yet. Not sure if there are state laws on associations and cameras.
