Question:
Recently I was elected as president for a 38 unit condo in Waldorf, MD, built in 1974. We are self managed.
One of the units just became a short sale. The lender is requesting a W9. I can not locate our tax number. I have asked past officers with no luck. I am thinking we have never filed taxes or maybe never applied for a TIN or EIIN. How do I check to see what our tax status is, before going to the IRS for information?
