Condo board makes bad decisions for real estate values

Question:

Our condo association board of directors has hired a designer re-do our lobby and make some cosmetic changes to the outside of the building not everyone agrees with.  It may affect the real estate value.  Can owners who disagree and are in the majority intervene or are we stuck with the decision?  New Jersey
