Dallas condo owner can't get board to divulge financial documents

Question:

How do I get my board of directors, controlled by the property management company to release financial documents to unit owners?

The only thing unit owners are ever provided is a budget. We have asked for financial documents but are always denied. Basically, we are told it isn't our business. As a unit owner, I apparently have no right to know our assets or liabilities, bank statements or contracts with outside vendors, how much the property management company is being paid, etc.  Dallas, TX

Ideas?
