Condo owner requests waiver of late fees due to surgery

Took one step out door and slipped - broke wrist and in need of surgery. Own condo and live in New York State. Can't find anything specifying documents. At the very least should there be a waiver of late fees since I don't have time and will be losing pay for all time out, P.T. MD follow ups etc. Does anyone think this is an unreasonable request? Thanks.
