Does condo board seat have a term limit?

Question:

I have been on our condo board in California for almost 12 years now.  I don't mind doing it and the condo owners want me to do it but I wonder if my tenure on the board violates any laws or rules.  There is nothing about term limits for board members in our association's bylaws.
