Hitting the WALL, 40 year recertification woes.

Question:

This question is submitted by Luis G. out of Miami, FL.

It has come to my attention that my building is now reaching its 40 year recertification deadline and the current board members fear that any critical findings will result in significant costs. We live in a typical Miami condo that is mainly constructed of concrete. There doesn't seem to be any major structural issues or any otherwise outward issues. But I'm starting to get a little worried that this may be an expensive process. Any help?
