We had our annual meeting yesterday and a new director was sitting on the board. We were told that this person cleans our pool bathroom and is paid $50 each time. I have seen it get cleaned once in 3 months. The board budgeted $4000 for the year. I see this as a problem for several reasons: a board member is getting paid for services, the board member is not licensed and insured, and the budgeted amount is so very out of line. We share The pool and expenses with an adjoining community. I know their manager. Should i inform her? am i over thinking this? Everyone else seems content to just get the bathroom cleaned so cheaply. We are located in Florida.
