HOA Landscaping Bids: Loyalty vs. Due Diligence

Is it advantageous to use our contracted maintenance lawn and landscape company for removing old shrubbery and planting new? There is a conflict among our board about getting 3 estimates for this work, but what about the relationship we have with our current lawn & landscape company? If we get other prices, will they be insulted?
