Question:
I suspect that my condo board is getting kickbacks by hiring the same maintenance company for everything.
How can I, as an owner, gather the necessary information to prove such a claim? The reason I am worried about this is that I feel we are possibly being overcharged. If the board does not go out and solicit bids, at least on a yearly basis, then what are the chances that we are paying higher than necessary rate?
