We have several covenants that require approval by the architectural committee. Over the past year or so, there have been a few improvements that were followed through without the plans submitted and as a result not approved by the architectural committee. These items, if submitted would have been approved. My question is, are we (the HOA BOD) able to ask the homeowners to submit the plans now, and have them approved after the fact to keep everything in compliance? We have some members that are more concerned with rules than the outcome, and this board is trying to correct any small infractions.
